Rappahannock County Sheriff! Charles K. Estes was reelected to that office by a landslide vote in the General Election Tuesday. Mr. Estes received 638 votes compared to 156 polled for Lester W. Deal, Independent candidate. Sheriff Estes voiced his appreciation for the vote of confidence of Rappahannock citizens.

In Piedmont District, the only contested Board of Supervisors seat, incumbent E. M. Estes was re-elected with 150 votes. Robert W. (Buck) Brown received 51.

Hon. Tom Frost retained his seat in the House of Delegates with an easy victory. In Rappahannock he polled 657 votes
