Is it a Turkish bazaar or a Las Vegas casine? Will I win a year’s supply of groceries, a world tour, a pocketful of trading stamps, or a pile of cash? The worst I can do is pay for what I buy. This is a slight exaggeration but you seldom walk into a grocery store that you don’t register for a drawing, have a free stamp coupon, or run into some other game or giveaway. It sometimes seems that the games and giveaways have replaced groceries. To the grocery stores, it’s a serious affair. They aren’t games they aren’t giveaways.
