Mrs. Walter came by train to Fredericksburg and was met there Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. Stanish Riley who accompanied her to Culpeper where she is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Leland Walter., Capt. and Mrs.'L. B. Stuart returned to their home Sunday after a winter vacation in Florida. Mrs. Juliett Greer has returned to her home in Warrenton after visiting friends in this area for several weeks. Mrs. A. C. Latham, with whom she last visited, 'took her to Warrenton. Friday evening Mrs. Sarah Latham and daughter Susan visited Misses Louise and Katie Anderson In Culpeper. Miss Louise Anderson left Monday for a trip to California. She accompanied Miss Josephine Chelf. Mrs. John Hotjge, Mrs. Nor - vel James, Mrs. C. A. Smitl^ Mrs. Ida Holmes-and Mrs. F. L. Bowey attended a Baptist Missionary meeting Monday at the home of Mrs. A. C. Latham. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Settle had as their weekend guests Mr. and Mrs. William Utz of Madison.
Mr. and Mrs. Emory Shifflett of Alexandria spent the weekend with Mrs. Dolly Melborne.
George Kidwell was an over night visitor Friday of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Smith for he was unable to get to ‘his home because of the snow. Danny and David Hitt were visitors for the weekend of their grandparents, Mr. and \frs. Smith.
Last Sunday Mrs. James R. Johnson and sons and Mrs. Sue McGovern of Front Royal were guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Dennis and Landra.
