On 16th Birthday

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Rector of Flint Hill celebrated with a party the 16th birthday anniversary of their daughter Rebecca Louise Rector; who is a sophomore at Rappahannock County High School. The affair was held Saturday, February 29 at the Flint Hill Fire Hall with about 100 relatives and friends in attendance. Chaperones included Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Rector of Marshall, grandparents of Rebecca; L. E. Johnson of Front Royal; Mr. and lilrs. John M. Partlow, Mr. and Mrs. EdWard F. Clatterbuck of Arlington; Mrs. Perle Coffey of Sperryville; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clatterbuck and Mrs. Charles Foster. Local guests included Mrs. Joel Jenkins, Mrs. Maxine Cary, Mrs. Mary Krause, Mrs. Willie Payne, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Foster, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Davis and Nelson Atkins and a group of young people ranging in age from two to twenty-two. Other out-of-town relatives and friends included Andy Paravati and James N. Rector of Richmond, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson of Front Royal, Rose-Marie Partlow and June Clatterbuck of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Rector of Winchester Airport, Frank Coffey III and C. B. Johnson, Jr., Sperryville. Assisting Joan Lee, Nancy Atkins and Alice Virginia Pullen with refreshments were Mr. and Mrs. Carson Johnson of Sperryville and Mrs. Wade Pullen of Flint Hill.
