The marriage of Miss Doris Marie Hackley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnie J. Hackley of Viewtown, to James Wines Sealock, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Golden Sealock of Front Royal, took place at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 1964, at Amissville Baptist Church. The Rev. John B. Hodge performed the double ring ceremony. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a short gown of white nylon lace over taffeta, fashioned with a fitted bodice which came to a point in front, and had a wide bow in the back. It had a scalloped neckline and the lpng sleeves came to a point over her hands. Her bouffant veil of illusion fell from a crown of seed pearls. She carried a white prayerbook topped with white rosebuds and carnations. Mrs. Nelson Burner of Amissville, sister of thebrid^ was matron of honor. Her gown was powder blue nylon over taffeta with a matching veil. She carried a bouquet of yellow mums. Mr. Sealock was his son's 'best man and Nelson Burner acted as usher. Miss Sandra Rowzie of Amissville presented a program of music including the wedding marches. A reception was held at Amissville fire hall. Mrs. Eugepe Dodson, an aunt of the bride served the wedding cake and Mrs. Charlie Hackley, also the bride’s aunt, and Mrs. Frances Hitt presided at the punch bowl. For traveling, Mrs. Sealock chose a Navy suit and the rose buds from her bridal bouquet. After a southern wedding trip the couple will make their home in Falls Church.

Lou Ann Phillips and Sharon Suter of Culpeper were weekend guests of Brenda Hackley Mr. and Mrs. Paul Suter were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hackley and Lou Ann and Sharon returned home with them. Mr6. Russell Hackley, Mrs. Edward Hackley and Mr6. Franklin Williams were visitors last Wednesday of Mrs. Virgil Corbin in Manassas Park and went shopping in Manassas.
