According to reports made by our better cattlemen damage to, or infection of; muscle tissue by the needle, or use of cold bacterin, some times causes a knot to develope in the area of the vaccination which is objectionable to buyers. We have seen these knots or lumps from the size of a hen’s egg to that of a baseball. Remember, however, that bacterins must be kept under refrigeration so make sure they are used immediately after warming to or near body temperature.

The Board felt more effort should be made to invite the children to become habitual userP^F the facilities offered. The people of Rappahannock county should be pleased and proud that it has such a dedicated group to provide this most needed facility to the General Welfare. The Board members will be highly rewarded if you the people find joy and satisfaction in the books and programs they have set out for your use and pleasure. The library will continue to be open on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings, and as demand increases other days and hours will be provided.
