Dinner guests last Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols were Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Crabtree and daughter Joan of Hopewell, Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Walker, Jean and Joe Carroll of Plymouth, N. C. The Misses Angelina and Melanie Gardner returned to their home in Woodstock last Sunday after a visit with their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols. * M. H. Brady, Jr., Wallace Russell and Manuel Pullen were in Darlington, N. C. over the holiday weekend and attended the Southern 500 auto ^aces there on Labor Day. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sours and two daughters, Frances and Betty left Tuesday for their home in Leona, N. J. after a weeks visit with Mr. and Mrs. John R. Moore. Mrs. James M. Settle left this week for a ten days visit with her three daughters in Alexandria, Burtonsville and Silver Spring, Md. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McCulloch of Fairfax and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Brady of Arlington were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Brady. Additional guests on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. • Charles Brady and two daughters Carol and Lisa of Manassas.
Mrs. Wiley Gentry returned home Friday from the Warren County Hospital after receiving treatment there since Sunday of last week. Edwin Hoover of Memphis, Tenn. was an overnight guest .Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning and Butch Browning. Mr. and Mrs. Warren McConchie and two sons Richard and Craig of Arlington were guests for the holiday weekend of Mrs. McConchie’s mother, Mrs. Mary Cleverley. Mrs. Ida Trump is visiting her son and family Mr. and Mrs. Bloise Trump this week in Alexandria.
