Mr. and Mrs. Giles Fox of Richmond spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Fox and family. They were called here due to the death of Mr. Fox’s sister Mrs. Bertha Steele of Front Royal. The Official Board of the Willis Chapel Methodist Church met with Mrs. Bradley Williams last Wednesday night. There were eleven present.
Mrs. Bradley Williams and Mrs. James Casin visited Mr, Casin in the Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D. C. last Thursday. Mr. Casin entered the hospital on Wednesday for tests and X-rays. Herman Williams returned to his home Saturday from the Winchester Memorial hospital where he had been a patient for 5 days treatment. He is reported to be improving satisfactorily. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bolt, Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Wines and baby and Mrs. Mattie Wines spent several days recently in the Newport News area. Miss Joyce Ralls of Front Royal spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Willie Gardiner Wines. Mrs. Nellie Kenny anddaugh ter of Martinsburg, W. Va. spent the week-end with Mr, and Mrs. Harve Williams. Miss Nadine Robinson of Edinburg spent Sunday with Miss Kay Williams. Mr. and Mrs. James Williams, sons Ronnie and Dale spent the week-end in New York and attended theWorJd’s Fair. Mr. and Mrs. Billy Daniel and baby of Newport News were the week-end guests of Mrs. Daniel’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Andrew R. Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Bernie Burnette of Richmond spent the week-end with Mrs. Burnette's parents Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams. Other visitors in the Williams home during the week-end included Maynard and Melvin Williams, Raymond Sibert and son Ray, Mrs. MarcelleMcNeill, Nancy Linda and Bruce, Mrs. Estelle Priest, Ray and Joe Priest.
