Am Albert Goodall
Asa Albert Goodall of SperryJ^ille died Friday, September 4, 1964 at his residence, following a recent illness. Son of the late Booten Goodall and Letitia McAllister, his wife, and a native of Madison County, he was 72. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy Nethers Goodall; one son, Asa Albert Goodall, Jr., of Sperryville; two daughters, Miss Mary Goodall of Sperryville, and Mrs. Elvis Meadows of Syria; two grandchildren; five brothers, T.A. Goodall of Gordonsville, Wilson Goodall of Criglersville, Linwood Goodall of Keswick, Leedy Goodall of Bethel, N. C., and Judson Goodall of Charlottesville; and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Hudson of Nether s, Mrs. Mamie Kite of Charlottesville, and Mrs. Leon Ould of Washington, D. C. A graveside funeral service was held Sunday, September 6, at 2:00 p. m. in Etlan Cemetery. The Rev. H. W. Longfellow, the family pastor, conducted the last rites. Pallbearers were James Ashby, E. A. Cave, Harry Gallihugh, James Smith, John Murray and Johnny Lillard.
