A two-vehicle collision oocurred at noon December 12 on Route 211 a mile and seven tenths from Washington. P. W. Scudere driving a -1961 Cadillac skidded on wet pavement into the left lane of the road and struck Bernard W. Crigler of Culpeper who was operating a 65 Plymouth sedan The Scudere car veered back across the highway and struck the bank on the right of the road, Another vehicle also ran off the road to avoid being struck by the Cadillac, according to Trooper Kyle Miller. Mrs. Scudere was a passenger. There were no injuries and damage to the Cadillac wases timated at $250 ^nd to the Ply. mouth at $65.
A rear end collision occurrei on Route 707 four and a hall miles south of Sperryyille or Ofer. 13 It TiTO ItwfmSbert Allen Deal of Sperryville, op erating a 50 Chevrolet pickup was struck in the rear by Charles William Jenkins, alsc of Sperryville; in a 52 GMC pickup, according to Trooper Paul P. Dicks. There were no injuries and damage was estimated at $150 to the Jenkins truck and $45 to the Deal vehicle. Trooper R. C. Byram anc Trooper Kyle Miller were un injured when, in pursuit of a motorist near Sperryville, their vehicle went out of con trol on a curve and crashed into an abandoned building. Byram was operator of the patrol car. Both men were wearing seatbelts and consid ered that this prevented in jury.
