Christmas spirit can easily ' be felt at R. C. H. S. The > bulletin boards have been decorated and ring out good cheer to all. The SC A will present a 1 Christmas play Friday, Dec. 1 18. The play will tell of the ! wise men who never arrived 1 at the scene of Christ’s birth, ' It will reveal the travels of the wise men in search of Christ, and the giving away of the three jewels intended for 1 the Messiah. The cast of the 1 play will be; Marlene Cordanl Martha Shillingburg, Ned Mofc fett Jones, Leslie Titchenell, 1 Bill Welch, Cecil Pullen, Pat 1 Foster, Dunny Eastham, : Larry Hackley, Bill Hayes, Billy Johnson, Roger Stover. 1 Robert Cook, Ronnie Hawkins and Kenny Payne. Mrs. ' Wolf is the director of the 1 play..

The Seniors will have a dance on the 19th. The entire school is invited. Do come and join ' the fun. There will be a 1 “mystery guest"!!!! Mrs. B. Gale Titchenell gave ! a very interesting Christmas 1 demonstration last week to F.H.A. group. Candle making really looked exciting and many girls commented that they were going to try. Rappahannock played Strasburg Friday and our J. V.wdn! The score was 26-24, with C, E. Dodson as high scorer The Varsity was defeated. The score was 48-65, with Ronnie Pullen and Melvin Atkins tied as high scorers.

The Junior Class apprech ates the help in making its candy project a success. If you want to buy a box of this

present a Christmas program. Mr. Austin Wright, a retired^ printer and chalk artist, will draw the Christmas scenes while the Qhoir sings. Mrs. Norman Skinner, director of the Choir, will sing “Night of Miracles”. This program will end the annual Christmas festivities. The students would like to wish everyone and especially the faculty of R.C.H.S. “A Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year!"
