Some committees will study the archil tecture of early houses and research the family history of those who lived in themr Some will look into the types and methods of religious worship as well as locate and identify the churches used. Others are going to write the story of the mills of Rappatownopk*. swdles OR; .industry „ and commerce, on travel and communication, on documents and records will be done by some of the committees. A hundred private cemeteries will be located and accurately identified. A catalogue of known artifacts, furnishings, tools, machinery, and utensils of every kind used in the everyday life of the first settlers here will be prepared. The society wants the coopera| tion of hundreds of people to J locate things. There is not so much desire to acquire the artifacts as to establish their identity and location and re*cord this information. Members need not of necessity serve on a committee, but it is desirable to have as many as possible identified with one committee or another.
