John Thomas Gilbert

John Thomas Gilbert, 37, son of O. W. Gilbert of Basboursville, Virginia, and the late Loula R. Gilbert, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1964, of leukemia in the Oakland Veteran’s Administration Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. Mr. Gilbert was born Feb. 11, 1927, ■ at Woodbridge, Va., and lived most of his youth at Flint Hill. He had lived in Burgettstown, Pa., for the past three years. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Kucher Saska VFW Post 695^ Burgettstown. Surviving are his wife Lauretta Bender Gilbert; a daughter, Starlene Marie, 17 months, of Burgettstown; two sons, Jerry Lamont, 16, and John Rodney, 14, of Arlington Also surviving are his father O. W. Gilbert of Barboursvillej two brothers, Jackie Gene GIF bert of Marshall, and O. W. Gilbert, Jr. of Warrenton; and a sister, Mrs. MaryG. Latham of Amissville.
