James J. Wigenton
James J. Wigenton died December 10, 1964 at his home in Amissville, at the age of 67. He was the son of the late George and Catherine Brown Wigenton and a native of Rappahannock County. His wife was the late Myrtle Belle Wigenton. He is survived by two sons, Leonard Wigenton and Sanford Wigenton, both of Washington, D. C., one foster son, George Pendleton of Amissville; three brothers, Willie and Earl Wigenton, both of Washington, D. C. and Edward Wigenton of Front Royal and four sisters, Mrs. Louise Jackson and Mrs. Grace Barnes, both of Reading, Pa., Mrs. Nannie Proctor of Front Royal, and Mrs. Alice Edwards of Amissville. A funeral service was conducted Sunday at 1:00 p.m, at Bethel Baptist Church at Amissville by the Rev. Carter Ausberry with interment in the church cemetery.
