D. J. Llewellyn of Front Royal was a visitor Sunday of E. B. Cary. Miss Cynthia Chamberlain, a student at Mary Washington College, was the week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. Miss Carolyn Brock left today for Newport, R. I. to attend the graduating exercises at the Naval Reserve Officer’s Candidate School on Friday and the graduation ball on Thursday night. Her fiance Karl Spence is a member of the graduating class. Miss Peggy Palmer, on vacation from a teaching position in Lynchburg is expected Saturday to spend the holidays with her parents Mr.andMrs. C. B. Palmer and family.
