The increase in circulation at the Rappahannock Library since the extended hours and days of Opening is appreciable The Board acknowledges with thanks the co-operation of the volunteers making this possible.
With more periods available for borrowers to return books it is felt that a fine system for over-due books should now be instituted. The fine for over-due books will be ten cents a week. Friday afternoon from three to five and Saturday morning from ten to twelve of this week over-due books will be accepted without fine. New volumes are continually being added to the shelves. Requests for desired books are welcomed and efforts will be made to obtain them. The staff welcomes back the students and teachers and is looking forward to serving them for both their recreational and research reading.
