Wins For Clark
Clifton Clark’s foxhound, Deacon Jake C, was first place winner in the All Age Male and Natural Carriage classes at the Northern Virginia Fox Hunters Association Bench Show held at Culpeper Enterprises last Thursday. Mr. Clark is from Woodville, Deacon Jake C is by Gangster Jake C x Fudgcicle and many of Gangster Jakes' other pups did well in the field competition. Fly, a sister of Jake C won first in speed and drive. Other of Deacon Jake C’s relatives were prominent in hunting and trailing. Among them was Jolly Wings, also owned by Mr. Clark. The last class of the show was the Ugliest Hound to Finish Trials. This proved unique and entertaining, and was a novelty addition to the show. Hounds were posed in various positions by handlers.
