Children's Home Fund
Drive Began Sept. 1
The fund raising campaign in Rappahannock county for the Children’s Home Society started Sept. 1st, Miss Mary M. Wood Chairman, announced today. Miss Wood asked the people of Rappahannock county to give generously in this year’s campaign. The need is greater than ever. This is true throughout the state and unless everyone helps, the Society will not be able to furnish service to all the infants who need assistance. Last year the Society received into care 209 babies and placed 194 in adoptive homes.
