Pvt. Levi J. Atkins Jr., 19, whose parents live in Amissville, completed advanced training as a cannoneer under the Reserve Enlistment Program at the Army Artillery and Missile Center, Fort Sill, Okla., Aug. 2 6. Atkins was trained in the preparation, loading and firing of field artillery guns and howitzers. He is scheduled to complete his military obligation with an Army National Guard unit in Warrenton. Atkins was graduated from Rappahannock High School in 1963 and was employed by Vitginia Department of Highways, Warrenton, before going on active duty.
