Mrs. Barbara Gentry has returned from a two week’s vacation spent visiting her son-in-law and daughter Dr. and Mrs. Tom Scott in Ame$ Iowa and with relatives and friends at Flint, Michigan. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller were among those attending the Masonic Lodge picnic held Sunday at Germanna picnic grounds. Butch Browning returned to his home Sunday from Hartford, Conn, where he was employed for the summer. He will be at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning for about two weeks before leaving for graduate study at Princeton University.

Mrs. F. W. Spalding and son Robert L. Massie, Jr. spent the weekend in Richmond at the home of Mrs. Margaret Hudson. Mr. Massie will be at home for several weeks before leaving for his teaching position in Richmond Daryl Corbin of Annandale spent last week with his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Foster. He was joined Friday by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Corbin and the weekend was spent on a camp ing trip. Miss Bessie Burgess has returned to her home in Suffolk after spending some time as the guest of the Rev. and Mrs. James M. Grimmer. Mrs. Ida Trump spent several days this week visiting her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Bloise Trump in Alexandria. Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Can dey of Cabin John, Md. and Mr. and Mrs. Warren A. Mo Conchie and son Richard of Arlington were guests during the weekend of Mrs. Mary Cleverley. Steven Candey and Craig McConchie returned home with their parents after a two weeks visit in the Cleverly-Trump home.
