Aubrey W. Settle
Aubrey William Settle, 54, of Culpeper was found dead Monday morning Aug. 30, near! his home on route 229. A native of Culpeper County andi son of the late Benjamin Frank-j lin Settle and Mary Hawkins: Settle, he was a member of Black Oak Regular Baptist Church. He is survived by one son Aubrey Douglas Settle of Wat renton; five daughters, Mrs. Charles Priest, Mrs. Gilbert Lawrence and Mrs. Carroll Frazier,, all .of ^rnissville,, IVfrs. Ernest Clerfients and ■Mrs. Emory Shiflette, bothj of Alexandria; five brothers Lyle Settle and James Settle, both of Culpeper, Moffett Settle of Orange, Luther Settle of Alexandria and Eulis Settle of Eggbornsville; 3 sisters, Mrs. Ernest Deal, Mrs. Fenton Settle and Mrs. Lawrence Bawkey, all of Rixeyville, and 15 grandchildren. A graveside funeral service was held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Amissville Baptist Church Cemetery, the Rev. Charles Kindred officiating. Geest 1-uneral Parlors was in charge of arrangements.
