Mr. Carrigan had copies of the Hotchkiss map that are available for $1.50. He also displayed the framed Hotchkiss map that had been given to the Society by George H. Davis, Jr. The copies are blue on white whereas the old map of Rappahannock is black on white that has mellowed to a parchment shade.
Mrs. Frances Foster, assistant treasurer of the Society reported that the first years membership numbered 174 and that dues for the new year were now payable. Arthur Miller as chairman of the nominating committee presented the present slate of officer’s for a second year term and it was unanimously accepted.
