EXPERIMENTAL SILOS—This battery of small silos at the Northern Va. Pasture Research Station enables scientists to compare feed inf value of different silages. Experiments. with corn silage cut at different stages of maturity are being studied this winter. Corn silage production, storage and feeding value ' will be the major topics on the program at the Northern Virginia Forage Conference Mar. 1 at the Middleburg Community Center in Loudoun County. Farmers in the Northern Virginia area are invited to attend this conference, says W. H. Lyne, county Extension agent.
