Delaware Youth Caught With Stolen Vehicle

A fifteen year old youth from Newcastle, Del. was apprehended In Rappahannock County February 16 in a stolen car when he attempted to pawn articles for gas. According to Trooper J. B. Willis, the 1958 Chevrolet which the boy was driving was stolen from Chestnut Hill Estates in Newark, Del. about 1 a.m. Wednesday. It was owned by Capital Radio Commission Inc. The vehicle containedra- j dio equipment valued at $2500 and the youth had stopped on Jordon’s Mountain near Amissville and tossed over half of it down an embankment. He then continued on to Washington, Va. where he pawned a set of tools to secure gas for the car and was apprehended by'Trooper Willis. All of the radio equipment was recovered Thursday and the owner picked up the vehicle. The youth was turned over to Delaware authorities Friday, said Mr. Willis.
