The 1967 Virginia auto license tags go on sale March 15 and will be handled by agent Wilson Burke at the Sperryville Corner Store. Hours for purchasing tags are from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. weekdays and from 8 a. m. until 12 noon Saturdays. Mr. Burke advises there is ample parking in the lot at the rear of the store. Rappahannock County auto tags will go on sale March 15 also, and may be purchased from County Treasurer Robert L. Brown at his office in Washington, Va. Hours for this office are 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. until 12 noon Saturdays. The deadline for purchasing both state and county tags is April 15. Personal property taxes must be paid and registration card stamped by Mrs. Roberta Spalding, Commissioner of Revenue, before coun tv tacs mav be Durchased.
