Aurariam duitrc ui waair ington, Va. leaves Friday for Fort Hood, Texas, where he will be stationed for the remainder of his two years service. Having completed overseas duty, which took him to Hawaii, Okinawa, Japan, and combat duty in Viet Nam, he has been home on a fortyfive day furlough.
Amusville HD Club Held Monday Meeting
The Amissville Home Demon stration Club met Monday evening at the educational room of Amissville Baptist Church with nineteen in attendance. Following the business session, the group worked on crewel and embroidery stitchery taught by Mrs. F. L. Bowey, Mr. Herman Terhune and Mrs. Stanish Riley. Another project on which they worked was woolen hats. Guests present included Mis6 Annie Laurie Bywaters, Mrs. Jimmy Colvin, Mrs. Jane Eisenman and Mrs. Franklin Williams. At the conclusion of the crafts session, enjoyed refreshments served by hostesses Mrs. George Lawrence and Mrs. Gilbert Lawrence.
