As usual much entertaining was done around the county for members of families and friends here to attend the Point-to Point races at Thorn ton Hill Farm near Sperryville On Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. William S. De whirst of Richmond were the week-end guests of Mrs. Dewhirst's mother Mrs. L. J. Turner. Miss Dorothy Davis Taylor and room-mate Miss Donna Seiman of Madison College were the week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. GeorgeH. Davis Jr.

Mrs. W. F. Moffett, jr. anc mother Mrs. Moffett spent Thursday in Washington, D. C. and enjoyed visiting the National Art Gallery. Miss Dana Snead of Mary Washington College spent the week-end at Fairlea the home of her parents Judge and Mrs R. V. Snead. Miss Segar Jones of Chowar College, Murfreesboro, N. C. was the week-end guest ofhei parents Mr. and Mrs. E. M, Jones at Delamore. Other Sat urday night supper guests were Mrs. L. J. Turner anc Mr. and Mrs. William S. Dewhirst.

Judge and Mrs. T. C. Lea and Dr. and Mrs. John Peytor Snead, IV are vacationing this week at the skiing area ir Stowe, Vermont.
