Miss Lottie Burton
Miss Lottie May Burton of Washington, Va. died Monday, March 6, 1967, in Warren Memorial Hospital at the age of 80. Miss Burton was born at Peola Mills, Madison County on May 9, 1886 a daughter of DeWitt D. Burton and Elizabeth Revercomb Burton. She was a member of the Wash-i ington Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Washington Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Ray Williams with interment in the Washington Masonic Cemetery. Pallbearers were C. J. Miller, D. D. Miller, Taylor Updike, Clarence Baldwin, Edward B. Cary and Charles T. Bruce.

Mrs. Venie Clatterbuck, 70, of Amissville, wife of the late Harry Nelson Clatterbuck, died Sunday, March 5, 1967 ! at University of Virginia Hospital following a month's ill— t ness.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Roy Wharton, Mrs. John Holmes, and Mrs. Leonard Tumblin, all of Amissville; two sons, Reginald Lee and Herman Nelson Clatterbuck of Amissville; a sister, : Mrs. Texanna Jenkins of Fal■ mouth; and two brothers, Sam Woodard of Amissville and
| Raymond Woodard of Centeri ville. Nine grandchildren survive her. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church of Thornton Gap, Sperryville. A funeral service was conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Amissville Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. William Layman officiated.
The active pallbearers were Clyde Woodward, Wilbur Woodward, Wesley Woodward, Charles Holmes, Mort Colvin, and Lewis Judd.
The Geest Funeral Parlors were in charge of the arrangements.
