Voting Precinct
At Chester Gap
A voting precinct is being established at Chester Gap, one of the most rapid growing areas in Rappahannock Coun*y. This will make two precincts in Wakefield District. At the request of citizens of the Chester Gap area, the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County, petitioned the Circuit Court for the establishment of a precinct for that area. Approval of this action was given by the court at a session Tuesday, Judge R. V. Snead, presiding. The Electoral Board of Rappahannock will be required to appoint a registrar for the precinct and election officials will also have to be appointed.
Sperryville Firemen Set Carnival Dates
The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Company has set the date for their annual Carnival for July 12, 13, 14 and 15.
