An assembly program was held Friday, October 6, for the purpose of launching the magazine campaign. Mr. Hammon of the Quality School Plan explained the procedure to follow in filling out the subscription forms and he also had on display some of the prizes that can be won by students. The campaign will continue through the 16th of October. This year’s goal is $1,500 and can easily be reached if each student will sell one magazine. So students, please get out and sell, sell, sell, those magazines. The Annual Staff met on Thursday at 11:45 to discuss what would be appropriate for students to wear for picture taking which was scheduled for October 10. The S.C.A. met briefly on Tuesday, October 3, at lunchtime. It was decided that dues would be paid to the state and that a small amount of money would be set aside for miscellaneous expenses of the S.C.A. The Senior Class met on Thursday, October 5, mainly to discuss the Christmas dance. Nothing definite was decided. Members of the Letterman's Club met on Tuesday to order their jackets and sweaters which they are eager ly awaiting. Congratulations to Mrs. Fetchero’s 8th grade girls. They had the best attendance and thus win the ice cream treat. The overall school attendance for September was 95.25%. Flash!!!
