Miss Mary Hughes of Richmond was a guest from Tuesday until today of Mr. andMrs. G. E. Doyle. Mrs. Doyle entertained with a luncheon and cards Wednesday in honor of Miss Hughes. Guests included Mrs. Edwina Rohr, Mrs. Virgie Grimsley and Mrs. Bessie Grimsley, all of Culpeper and Mrs. G. H. Dennis. Wednesday evening Mrs. Doyle had a surprise birthday dinner for Mr. Doyle and guests were Dr. and Mrs. T. W. Armstrong and children and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie McNemar and family of Culpeper and Miss Hughes. Mrs. J. L. Walter spent last week from Sunday until Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Walter in Culpeper.
