On Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs. John Lamb and sons Steve and Wayne of the Reva Road gave a birthday dinner honoring Mrs. Lamb’s brother-in-law Raymond Fincham. Others attending were Mrs. Fincham and daughter Peggy |and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Cave. Stevie Green is home ill with bronchitis at this time. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kent of Decatur, Ga. were Thursday evoking visitors of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Thornhill. Mrs. Vinda Kilby returned home on Sunday after spending several weeks with Mrs. M. K. Norris in Culpeper. Mrs. George W. Tidier returned home last Tuesday after spending several days in Silver Spring, Md. visiting Mrs. Sol Schneider and in Alexandria visiting Mrs. Newman Scott. Mrs. Bertha Reese of the Virginia Baptist Home, her niece Mrs. Virginia Petty of Newport News and her nephew Harry Fisher of Beckley, W. Va. were Sunday afternoon vis itors of Mrs. R. W. Quaintance, Sr. and Miss Elsie Ramsey.
