Miss Susan Latham was an, avernight guest Friday and spent Saturday with Miss Nancy Cargill at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. John G. Cargill in Washington. Mr. a’nd Mrs. Roy Smithmier who have just returned to this country from Germany, were visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Green and family. They will make their home in Marietta, Ga. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. McDaniel and family of Annan- _ dale were visitors Thursday evening of Misses Garland,” Marion and Lucille Riley. Guests of Mrs. A. C. Latham for several days are Mrs. Juliett Greer, Miss Lucile' Hathaway and Mrs. Maude Brewer, ail of the Virginia Baptist Home in Culpeper. Friday Mrs. Latham and her guests were luncheon guests of Mrs. Lthel Cooksey and Mrs. Annie L.atham.
Mrs. John H. Williams entered Johns Hopkins Flospital in Baltimore Sunday as a surgical patient.
