an American Flag donated bj the VFW Chapter in Sperryville and presented by Mr. Carson Johnson. A larger American Flag donated by the VFW Chapter in Sperryville and presented by Mr. Carson Johnson. A larger American Flag secured through the efforts of Senator Harry F. Byrd, Jr. and donated by Forrest I. Rettgers was presented to Mr. Wingfield by Congressman Marsh. This flag was special significance to us as it has been flown over the Capitol. The flag will be flown at school for one day and will then be placed in the school's trophy case. Much hard work went into the preparation of this assembly but none of that
