Mrs. Lucy Elizabeth Barksdale, 80, wife of Herbert Samuel Barksdale, of Flint Hill, died at her home Saturday, November 11, 1967. She was born in Flint Hill, a daughter of the late Robert H. and Georgia Cowgill Ricketts. In addition to her husband she is survived by one sister Mrs. Robbie R. Radcliff of Frederick, Md., a niece, Mrs. Elizabeth Messers m it h of Frederick, Md., and a nephew Robert R. Radcliff of Wilmington, Del. Funeral services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Flint Hill Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. C. Edward Pruitt with interment in the Flint Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were W. C. Williams, Herbert Foster, Paul Miller, Emory Russell, Brue W'ood and W. G. Eastham. Maddox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
