Rufus D. Leake

A funeral service for Rufus Daniel Leake. 67, of Woodville, was held Saturday at .Geest Funeral Chapel in Culpeper with burial in Sperryville Cemetery. Mr. Leake died Thursday, November 9, 1967 at his residence. The Rev. John S. Farrar conducted the service, assisted by the Rev. William M. Thompson. He was a farmer, a native of Rappahannock County and a member of F. T. Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lizzie Jane Fincham Leake, one son, Rufus D. Leake, jr. of Culpeper, one daughter, Mrs. Charles Rider also of Culpeper, and six grandchildren. Also two sisters. Mrs. Hr rips t Rider of Richardsville and Mrs. Lillie Jones of Fredericksburg. Pallbearers were Clifton Rider, Wilbur Fincham, David Rider, George Fincham, Buck Fincham, Grover Fincham, Fdward Fincham, Buddy Morris, Billy Leake and Raymond Leake.
