***•**•• Plants indeed are a great gift as everyone knows because, when given the proper care, they will bloom for a long period of time. A gift plant requires these four conditions - full sun, cool temperatures, keep it out of drafts and keep the soil moist, but not soggy. You will not get the longest life possible from your plant unless it is put in a room or porch at night with a temperature between 50-60 degrees. Blooms and Flowers will last much longer with a lower temperature. If you plan to flower these plants a second year, do not expect the same quality bloom as the greenhouse-grown plant because it was grown under ideal conditions which cannot be duplicated in the home. Follow simple instructions and your Mother’s Day Plant will last longer.
