Mrs. Ethel Williams, Mrs. Dorcas Kuser, Mrs. Maybelle Gilkey and Mrs. Iva Williams attended the Federation Meeting of District VIII Homemakers Clubs held last Thursday in Culpeper. The regular monthly meeting of the Chester Gap Homemakers Club was held at the Fire Hall last Thursday night with 10 members and one visitor present. A very interesting demonstration was given by the home agent, Miss Diane Brown, on cake decorating. Mr. and Mrs. “Qernie" Burnette of Falls Church spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams Other visitors on Sunday included Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Williams and daughter Melody Melvin Williamsand Lisa, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sibert, Patty Sibert, Ray and Joe Priest of Front Royal. Nancy, Linda and Bruce McNeill spent Thursday through Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Hubie Gilkey and family. Sunday visitors of the Gilkeys were Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Cameron and two children of Front Royal. Mrs. Weltie Willis was a delegate to the Council Meeting of the Assemblies of God last Thursday in Culpeper. David Williams and son Duane were in Washington, D. C. last Friday.
