NOTICE

The Rappahannock County Democratic Committee adopted a resolution at its meeting on May 1, 1968, providing for a County Mass Meeting to elect delegates to the Democratic State Convention which will be held at Salem, Virginia, on July 27, 1968.

The Rappahannock County Democratic Mass Meeting will be held at the Rappahannock County Court House on May 28, 1968, at 12:00 o’clock noon.

The Committee agreed to split Rappahannock County’s two (2) votes into one-half votes for representation at the State Convention, which will entitle the County to four (1) delegates and four (1) alternates. All persons who desire to be named as delegates or alternates to the Democratic State Convention shall file in writing their intention to be delegates or alternates with E. M. Jones, Secretary, Washington, Virginia, on or before Miay 25, 1968.
