Cil Davis leaves her home in Washington, Va. Monday for Washington, D.C. where she is a contestant this week in the National Spelling Bee. Her week in Washington will include sight-seeing in addition to spelling competition Wednesday and today. Cil came home last night to participate in her seventh grade commencement as valedictorian and then returned to the contest. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, jr.
