Chester Gap To Hear Safety Program
There will be a special meet ing at the Chester Gap Fire Hall, Thursday, June 13 at 7:30 on “Safety and Protection for Women in the Home and on the Highway." A State Trooper will be there to conduct the program, and everyone Is invited and urged to attend. This meeting is sponsored by the Homemakers Club.
Mrs. Cordle Hostess for Dessert Bridge
Mrs. W. H. Cordle was hostess at Dessert Bridge on Friday night at her home near Sperryville. Her guests included Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. E. A. Montague, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. Roy L. Reeve, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Charles Estes, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. R. E. Patzig, Mrs. Elmo Flynt, Mrs. E. A. McNear, Mrs. Ralph Styer, Mrs. Carroll Quaintance, Mrs. T. J. Pillar and Mrs. Harry Love. High scorers were Mrs. Mary Quaintance and Mrs. Patzig. Bingo was won by Mrs. Wood.
Tuberculin Testing

Tuberculin testing has been completed for 8112 individuals in eight counties served by the Tuberculosis andHealthAssociation of Northern Virginia including those five under Health Director, Dr. Leon A. Dickerson. Mrs. Helen Rodgers and Byron A. Skeens of the State Health Department worked with local public health nurses school nurses. Tuberculosis staff, volunteers and school authorities during the past three months.
