Mrs. Frank L. Temple
Mrs. Mamie Hawkins Temple, 61, died May 27, 1968 at her home in Hillcrest Heights, Md. She was the widow of Frank L. Temple. Mrs. Temple was born in Rappahannock County, a daughter of the late Milton M. and Stella B. Hawkins.
She is survived by a son, Stanley A. Temple, Marlowe Heights, Md.; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth T. Brittle of Baltimore and Mrs, Dorothy T. Pennington of Wheaton, Md.; and ten grandchildren. Other survivors include the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Eugie H. Jenkins of Flint Hill; Milton M. Hawkins, Jr. of Washington, Va.; Mrs. Agnes C. Campbell and Mrs. Jesse H. Donaldson of Hillcrest Heights; Mrs. Bessie H. Brown and Earl C. Hawkins of Front Royal; Mrs. Ada H. Turner, Arlington; Mrs. Elsie H. Boswell, Hyattsville, Md.; and Woodrow W. Hawkins, College Park, Md. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews, including Charles E. Corder of Manassas. Funeral services were conducted May 29 from a funeral home in Washington, D. C. with the Rev. Kenneth Lyons officiating. Interment was in Arlington National Cemetery.
