National Education, member of the Virginia Education Association, and the Warren County Education Association. In addition, she is a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma, International honorary organization for women educators. While In Warren County she has served as a delegate to the National Education Association convention and has been a member of the Warren County and Virginia State salary committees. During the summer of 1965, she participated in a six weeks NDEA reading institute at the University of Virginia. She also attended the phonovlsual workshop at Bethesda, Md. in 1963 and in 1964 participated in a summer workshop at Longwood College in “Teaching Mathematics.* Mrs. Brubeck has been active in church work since coming to Front Royal, has served as teacher and associate superintendent of the Primary Sunday School at First Baptist Church and as a member of the Board of Christian Education of that church.
