While on this committee, Mrs. Brubeck wrote newspaper articles concerning methods of reporting to parents, and made radio broadcasts on this topic. She worked with the Sumter Art Association on the subject of “Art In the Elementary School." She c o m p 1 l<e d and wrote a series of newspaper articles relating to the shortage of teachers in the state. Mrs. Brubeck served as county and state chairman of pupilteachers welfare committee and for four years she was delegate to the Council of Delegates, an advisory committee comprised of elected members of the Education Association.
