Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman, Jr. who spent last week with Mrs. D. V. Chapman, Sr. returned to their home in Richmond on Saturday accompanied by Mrs. Chapman. Miss Jenny Newton of Minot, North Dakota spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown. Phil Hawkins is visiting friends in Asheville, North Carolina. Mrs. Raymond Rector and son James Nelson Rector of Richmond were Friday overnight guests of Mrs. Perle Coffey and on Saturday they attended the funeral of Mrs. Yager in Rochelle. Mrs. Coffey spent Saturday night with her brother, Raymond Rector at Marshall and they visited Mr. and Mrs. Leon Rector in Winchester. Visitors on Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Clarke and Mrs. Delia Leake were Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Miller of Ellicott City, Maryland and their dinner guests on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. George Owens of Baltimore, Maryland.
