Receives Fellowship
For Graduate Study
Robert L. Massie, Jr. has received a Fellowship to the Graduate School of the University of Maryland. He has been granted a year’s leave of absence from the Richmond Public Schools to continue his graduate study. He has been serving as assistant principal of the Woodville School in Richmond and is head of the Special Education Department there. Mr. Massie was graduated from Rappahannock County High School. He received his B. A. degree from the University of Richmond and his M. A. degree from Michigan state University. At the University of Maryland he will work rewards his Doctorate. He is the son of Mrs. Roberts Spalding of Flint Hill.
