George Williams will be available only to Rappahannock orchardlsts having a specific problem throughout the remainder of the spray season. Be sure and contact this office (675-3619) should a disease or insect problem arise. All roadside markets in the Sperryville area were contacted this week relative to receiving “Roadside Marketing Tips" by James Bell, Extension Specialist, Fruit and Vegetable Marketing. A Mrs. Richards of McLean wrote, “I recently visited the square thereafter office hours and saw the lovely garden you have. I have never seen “Coral Bells" in such a dark pink. Is this some new variety? Do you recommend any special fertilizer for Coral Bells?" Thanks for the compliment, Mrs. Richards, or is it Miss, however, we can’t claim any credit. All we did was plant them and added a little 5-10-10 each spring before growth starts. The credit goes to those fine Oak Forest Gardens plants. We do agree with the “passer by* in thinking the blossoms are pretty and add to the attractiveness of “the Square".
