Mrs. Stanley Williams

The Chester Gap Baptist Mis sion closed a very successful Vacation Bible School last Friday night. The week’s school* had an average daily attendance of 50. The regular monthly meeting of the Chester Gap Homemakers Club was held last Thursday night, June 13 witf 10 members and four visitors present. A very interesting and informative talk was giver by State Trooper Buntin or ways we can protect ourselves in our homes and on the highway. It was very much appreciated.

Mr. and Mr6. Bernie Burnette of Falls Church, Joe and Ray Priest of Front Royal spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams. Other visitors on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Hubie Gilkey, Bert Kim and Kelly Gilkey of Chester Gap, Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Williams, Stan, Mike and Melody Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sibert, Ray and Patty, all of Front Royal. Mr. and Mrs. ‘'Buck” Williams and family of Arlington visited Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Williams during the week-end. Visiting Mrs. “Pet’’ Smith during last week were Mrs. Gilbert Smith, Mrs. Billy Smith and son of the Strasburg Road and Mrs. Harve Williams of Chester Gap. Mr. and Mrs. Stevie Forster of Rlint Hill spent Saturday night with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wines. The Chester Gap Rescue Squad ambulance brought Mrs. Mattie Wines from the Winchester Memorial Hospital to the home of her daughter Mrs. ‘Bill" Bolt and Mr. Bolt on Sunday. Mrs. Wines had been a surgical patient in Winchester hospital for two weeks and in Warren Memorial Hospital for treatment for 2 1/2 weeks. She is improving satisfactorily.

Mr. and Mrs. David Williams were visitors in Winchester Saturday. Visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Williams and son Duane during last week were Miss Anita Jean Brown of R ichmond, also M ike Welch Charles Corder, Frank Huff^ Billy Pullen and Donnie Welch.
