John Henry Williams is spending a month at Norwich University Boys Camp in Vermont. He was accompanied to Vermont by his parents who have returned home. Betsy Williams is spending two weeks at Roundabout Camp near Sperryvillc.
Susan Latham returned home Sunday after spending a week with Mr. and Mrs. David Hoadley in Arlington and Mrs. Sally Fincham in Suitland, Md. She was accompanied home by Mrs. Hoadley who was a dinner guest of the Lathams. Mrs. D. D. Miller, Jr. and children of McLean were guests last weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Green and family. C. M. Green was celebrating his seventh birthday. Mr. Miller joined his family Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. McDaniel of Annandale were guests for the weekend of Misses Garland, Lucille and Marion Riley and were joined Sunday by their daughter Miss Diane McDaniel and a friend, Tom Otey of Ft. Meyer.
Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Barron were overnight visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Latham in Blacksburg.
Lt. and Mrs. Robert Armentrout, who have been living in Florida, arrived Friday night at the home of Mrs. Armentrout’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Latham at Homer Hill Farm. After spending a leave here, they will go to Anchorage, Alaska where Lt. Armentrout will serve a tour of duty beginning August 15 at Elmendorf AFB.
Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest and family. returned to their home Monday after spending a week at Seashore State Park, Virginia Beach.
Recent guests of the Rev. and Mrs. Charles Kindred were Mrs. Kindred’s parents and her grandmother, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Oates and Robert Donner, all of Brookeville, Pa. and her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lanny Oates and children Christopher and Scott of Buffalo Grove, 111. j Mr. and Mrs. Everett Rowzie of lAlexandria were Sunday afternoon visitors of Mrs. J. L. Walter and Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Riley.
