Fireworks Display at Luray Singing Tower
The annual fireworks display celebrating Independence Day will be held on the grounds of the Luray Singing Tower Thursday evening, July 4. In case of rain, the event will be postponed until Saturday, July 6.
A carillon recital of appropriate music at 8 p.m. will be followed by an address of welcome at 9 by Mayor Fred C. Walker. The giant aerial and ground fireworks display is scheduled to get underway at 9:15.
This annual event always draws large crowds of spectators. It is arranged by the Luray Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Town of Luray, the Luray Caverns and others.
